1. Sit tall in a chair with both feet flat on the floor.
2. Clasp your hands behind your back or hold opposite elbows.
3. Gently lift the chest and draw the shoulders back.
4. Keep your neck relaxed and your chin parallel to the floor. Hold for 20-30 seconds.
5. Release your hands slowly and return to the starting position.

Exercise notes:

  • Hold a towel between your hands if shoulder mobility is limited.
  • Avoid shrugging the shoulders up towards the ears.
  • To deepen the stretch, gently lift your hands away from your back if comfortable.
