1. Sit on the mat with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor.
2. Lean back slightly while keeping your chest lifted.
3. Lift your feet off the floor and balance on your sitting bones.
4. Extend your arms forward on either side of your legs.
5. Gently engage your core muscles and breathe steadily. Hold for 15-30 seconds.

Exercise notes:

  • Keep knees bent or on the ground for an easier option.
  • Lightly hold the backs of your thighs for support if needed.
  • To make the movement more challenging, straighten your legs.
