A Better Choice Sport and Recreation

A Better Choice for Sport and Recreation is a Queensland initiative led by Health and Wellbeing Queensland, helping councils, sporting organisations and clubs to create an environment where physical activity and healthy eating complement each other to create a happier and healthier legacy.

By introducing A Better Choice, clubs and facilities can encourage healthier eating habits through four simple and practical focus areas.

The Food and Drink Supply Strategy was developed in partnership with the Department of Sport, Racing, Olympic and Paralympic Games and co-designed with the state’s sport and recreation sector.
