Strawberry Santas

These cute and festive strawberry Santas will be a hit with kids and adults alike!
Strawberry Santas
10 min prep
4 serves
0.6 serves of veg
  • 8 large strawberries
  • 1 medium banana
  • 200g Greek yoghurt
  • 2 tsp currants
  1. Remove the leaves and stem from the strawberries, then cut off a slice about a third of the way. This will create a flat ‘base’ and ‘Santa hat.’
  2. Cut the banana into 8 slices.
  3. To assemble: Place the larger section of the strawberry (the base) on the bottom, add a dollop of Greek yoghurt on top, stack the banana slice on top, add another dollop of yoghurt, and finish with the small strawberry slice as the ‘hat.’
  4. Use currants to create eyes on the Greek yoghurt.

Serving Suggestion: Strawberries can be swapped for other fruit you may have on hand such as pieces of watermelon chopped into a similar shape, or add a grape or piece of kiwi fruit to make a new ‘Grinch’ design of your choosing.

Storage: Keep your prepared ‘Santas’ in the fridge until your ready to serve.

Kids in the kitchen tips: Depending on your child’s age and skill, they can help wash the strawberries, stack the fruit to create ‘Santa’ and carefully add the eyes to each one.
