The Equity Framework is an online resource that provides an overall picture of the causes of inequity in Queensland and the courses of action to address it.
This conceptual framework is Queensland-specific and based on extensive research and collaboration.
It explains the factors that leave people left out, doing without, and hindered. It then shows how and where it is possible to act to address inequity by intervening and working differently.
The accompanying Equity guide for policy makers is available to help policy officers apply an equity lens at each stage of the public policy process.
