Queenslanders with Disability Network

Queenslanders with Disability Network is an organisation of, for, and with people with disability. Our motto is “nothing about us without us.”

QDN operates a state-wide network of over 2000 members and supporters, and all QDN members are people with disability. QDN members provide information, feedback and views from the perspective of a person with disability, to inform system level policy feedback to Government and peak bodies.

Our network includes QDN’s peer leaders who actively convene groups, link locally with others with disability, provide big picture policy leadership in their communities across Queensland.  They provide peer support and information to help others gain information, build capacity and build inclusive communities.

QDN also undertakes a range of project work that align with the organisations vision, mission and values to empower people with disability to be fully included in the social and economic life of the community.
