Overcoming inequity through local partnerships

This session showcases a strengths based, collaborative approach to addressing health inequity in Logan’s multicultural communities. Speakers explore how partnerships across health, education, local government and not-for-profit organisations have used swimming lessons as a practical mechanism to improve health literacy, health education, wellbeing, access to services, cultural awareness, employment and social inclusion.
