Cook and Connect: empowering rural communities through improved food literacy

This session showcases Cook and Connect, a place based initiative in Roma designed to strengthen food literacy among high school students. Through practical cooking and meal planning skills, the program aims to address some of the social determinants of health that contribute to food insecurity and chronic disease risk in rural communities.
