ConnectingQ ECHO® Session – Co-Design Process for Health and Wellbeing Council Programs in Community: Enablers, Barriers and Impacts for Disadvantaged Groups

This session will explore the robustness of inclusive health programs in the community and the impacts on health and wellbeing metrics for migrant and refugee populations.
Case studies from the Learn to Swim program with Afghan women in Springfield and a soccer program with the Congolese and Sudanese groups in Redbank Plains will be showcased.
Speakers will include Ashley Crasto, Coordinator of Community Wellbeing at Ipswich City Council, Sarah Scarce, refugee lawyer and founder of The Aqua English Project and Dr Stephen O’Grady, Welcoming Clubs Queensland Project Coordinator.
