It was supposed to be a huge year for us – we were getting married in June, honeymooning in Patagonia, where we’d long dreamed of travelling to, and were looking to buy our first home. Essentially our 2020 milestones have been moved to 2021 – fingers crossed! Not the South American honeymoon though, we’ll be staying much closer to home.

What helped you overcome these challenges?

My wonderful fiancé, family and friends were a huge support. Gratitude for all that I have in my life, including the new job I started at the beginning of Queensland’s lockdown. And an improved sense of perspective 😊
