Method

Step 1

You can either leave skin on for roasting or cut skin off. Start with the tip of the knife in the centre of the pumpkin and hit the heel of the handle to push the blade into the pumpkin and it will naturally start to split.

Step 2

Cut one side and then the other so the pumpkin is in quarters.

Step 3

Using a tablespoon remove all the seeds.

Step 4

Cut off top and tail.

Step 5

Cut into 2 cm strips.

Step 6

Cut into cubes.
