EOI: Getting Kids to Eat Like Champions
To support kids and families make the best fuel choices when being active, Health and Wellbeing Queensland is inviting sporting clubs and venues in Queensland to be involved in our Getting Kids to Eat Like Champions pilot study. The study aims to explore how sporting clubs and venues can use food and drink marketing materials to encourage children aged 5-17 years to pick healthier food and drink options when eating outside of home. Clubs involved in this study will receive a $200 gift voucher as compensation for their time spent engaging in this study.

EOI: Preconception Health Promotion Trial- Help Shape a Healthier Future for Queensland Families!
Health and Wellbeing are looking for people to participate in a codesign workshop on health before pregnancy. This workshop aims to collaborate with consumers to create health messages and resources that will be used in a social media campaign to support healthy choices before pregnancy for both men and women. Community members aged 18-45 from Ipswich, Mackay, and surrounding areas are invited to take part in a locally held 2.5-hour codesign session.
Participants will help us to create resources that will be used in a social media campaign and will receive a $125 e-gift voucher for their time.

Healthy Horizons – Living well after GDM
Health and Wellbeing Queensland are currently running a co-design study with women who have had Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM) called: Healthy Horizons – Living well after GDM. The study aims to create a targeted health program designed to support the long-term health and wellbeing of women who have had GDM in a past pregnancy. Women who have joined the study will take part in a free health program and complete 2 surveys, with participants receiving a $150 e-gift voucher after both surveys are completed.
This study is currently closed for new applications.
EOI: Chronic Disease Prevention Advisory Group
Expressions of Interest are now closed for Health and Wellbeing Queensland’s (HWQld) Chronic Disease Prevention Advisory Group and shortlisting is underway.
Strengthening chronic disease prevention across the health system is a key strategic priority for HWQld. Targeted actions at critical stages of life can prevent or reduce chronic disease and create lasting benefits for future generations. Advisory Group members including frontline clinicians and consumers ensure our work is effective, relevant and has impact.
